Sign Prototype & Simulation
Printed Symbols in Enviornment
I was given the task to create wayfinding graphics for an Ear, Nose, and Throat Conference. I took the ear symbol I created in the Five Senses project (bottom) and re-designed it to be placed in the ENT conference simulation (top). I also designed an arrow graphic to go along with the ear symbol that would be able to direct individuals to where the ear section of the conference was.
Although this project was short and an extension of the Five Senses symbol design project, creating these sign prototypes and actually placing them in the real world was very beneficial. I was able to learn how to create real prototypes as well as get a glimpse into what it would be like working/designing for a real client.
